The Fanfiction Project
Welcome back, readers, to the Spring Contest Fanfiction Project 2005!
Near the beginning of last year's contest, Sir Bormun began a multi-part fanfic that would detail the whole contest--both the battles between the characters and the interactions they had outside the arena. But when he had to take a short break just before the battles began, other guest authors that liked the idea started writing sections without being asked. Some of them were so successful that Bormun put together a writing team with their authors, turning his solo effort into the Fanfiction Project we know today.

Tryout Entries
For this new FFP, new blood was needed (and not just for drinking). Another tryout was held, and although it pained the original authors to do it, cuts were made. Each entrant was asked to produce a battle fic and a village fic to prove their action-writing and character interaction abilities.
Some of these entries were very impressive; see for yourself by checking out all eighteen submissions below. (Mild Guy, RamzaB, Tikiman2002, and I (Cromage) were the winners of these tryouts, by the way, with honorable mentions given to Daredevil, Sir Chris, and Futuresuperstar)
