Preshow:
"Dark Reflections"

Alucard's rapier pierced through the cold night air. He was training on the cliff, overlooking the waves crashing down on the jagged rocks below. His training had become much more focused since his last match. Few had been surprised to see Alucard's barbaric display, but Alucard himself had been stunned. It was not his nature to take the blood of another for spite, yet he had let his anger gain control of him during his fight. He was no different from.....him. He angrily launched a ball of flame into the ocean, producing the usual 20 foot wave that crashed into the cliff. He sheathed his saber and walked from the cliff.

The cliff where Alucard trained was far away from the other facilities, it was a long walk. He would usually transform to either a wolf or a bat, to make the trip quicker, but tonight he wanted to walk. He walked into the outer edge of the large forest that surrounded the arena and the other structures. He began to trudge through the forest. He thought about his match scheduled for the next day, against the pink thing. I don't see why I'm the only one who has to fight these ridiculous opponents, it's humiliating he thought to himself as he tread across the well blazed trail from the cliff to the mansion.

Suddenly he heard ruffling in the trees, he looked up calmly. The rustling came from behind him this time, but Alucard didn't bother turning around. The rustling was coming up on him from behind, faster and faster. He spun around and slashed out with his sword. A blur jumped over it and landed on the other side of the half vampire. Alucard slowly turned around, sword still drawn, and looked at the figure in front of him.

Just as he suspected it was Sheik. Sheik seemed to attack anyone who entered this forest, except those as strong as Alucard. "What do you want this time Sheik?" Alucard asked, becoming annoyed.

"You.......you're still upset about your last match aren't you?" Sheik responded, looking deeply into Alucard's eyes.

Alucard turned his head away, and stayed silent. Sheik and Alucard had spoke before, but this was the first time Alucard had ever been at a loss for words. Sheik began to shriek with laughter, "Hahahaha, you're ashamed of your power aren't you."

Alucard walked forward brushing past Sheik, and began walking towards the hotel. Sheik smiled and yelled to Alucard, "We all seek power, vampire. The only difference is some cower in fear of the power, and some take hold of it and make it their own. Which one are you, I wonder?" With that Sheik ducked into the foliage of the trees and was gone.

Alucard walked a few more steps and then transformed into a slew of bats and flew away.

Battle:
"Requiem for a Marshmallow"

Kirby bounded out onto the field. The crowd gave the lovable pink warrior the whole-hearted applause they had the previous round. Kirby beamed back at the fans. Alucard was already waiting in the middle of the field, not going for the flashy entrance he had performed last time. Kirby hopped over to the center with Alucard.

The match began, as they tend to.

Alucard calmly drew his rapier, and beckoned Kirby to attack. Kirby pulled out his trademark blade, and leapt into the air preparing for a shockwave attack. Alucard was too quick for him. No sooner had Kirby left the ground than had Alucard. He came in quickly with his sword at the ready. Alucard reached out with his rapier, but stabbed nothing but air. Kirby had gasped in more air and had gained altitude rather rapidly. Alucard moved forward through the air, now helpless to the higher up Kirby. Who expelled all the air from his body, turning into a solid rocklike object and came plummeting back to earth with Alucard in the way.

The rock smashed into Alucard's back, his sword flew up out of his hands as the rock made contact. As the pair hit the ground Alucard seemed to explode into a swarm of bats who escaped to a score feet in front of Kirby. They materialized into Alucard. He extended his hand, and then one finger. His rapier fell from the air and landed horizontally on his finger balanced perfectly. He flung it up into the air and caught it with his other hand, bringing it down to the ready pointed directly at Kirby.
Kirby rose to his feet, completely unscathed from the fall. The joyous, carefree look on his face concealed the experienced inner warrior who was sizing up his opponent. Kirby was a good fighter in his own right, but his specialty was combat with his opponents skills. Kirby knew that in order to win the fight he was gonna have to absorb his opponent.

Alucard smiled at the pink blob. He knew as long as he wasn't absorbed by the small warrior he would be assured a victory.

Kirby looked at Alucard and then dashed forward holding his blade behind him. Alucard smiled and charged forward as well. Kirby slashed upward unleashing a shockwave at his opponent. Alucard ran strait toward the wave, at the last second a swarm of bats erupted in the form of Alucard. The bats held the shape of Alucard running forward, but the few in the path of the attack moved out of the way. As the shining wave passed, the bats moved back into place and formed the Dark Prince. Alucard slashed at Kirby but he leaped up into the air again. He came crashing down to earth with the blade, but once again he only parted a swarm of bats.

Kirby leapt back dodging another slash from Alucard's rapier. Alucard could've ended this by now, he was just toying with him. Kirby needed a strategy.

Alucard was enjoying himself, this more than made up for the humiliation of Bomberman actually getting a hit in. He had Kirby, a superior warrior, under his thumb. The more he thought about it the more it tickled him. Then he realized, that the longer this battle lasted the longer Kirby had to absorb him. He should end this, now.

Alucard came at Kirby with another slash, this one much quicker and precise. Kirby managed to parry it with his blade, but couldn't avoid a strong kick from Alucard. Kirby rolled backward and saw Alucard coming in. Kirby decided the time was right.

Alucard charged in for the finishing blow on the seemingly off balance Kirby, but right before he could make the kill, the pink fighter flipped up and began to suck in the air. Alucard had watched when Ramza had been sucked in by Kirby and scoffed at his weakness for not being able to resist, but now he understood. The wind poured into Kirby's mouth with the force of a tornado, and soon it was too much for the half-vampire to bare. He yelled with anger as his feet left the ground and he plunged into the dark depths of Kirby.

Alucard was becoming enraged inside Kirby, no matter what embarrassment Bomberman had caused him, the mortification of being spit out by a marshmallow peep was absolute. However, he felt his body beginning to change. He looked down at his arms and saw them sharpening. Curiously he looked down and saw his feet beginning to do the same. Suddenly, it hit him, He's not turning into me, he's consuming me! The transformation of the Son of Dracula into a star was beginning to gain momentum. Alucard shuffled around inside of Kirby. His rage was quickly becoming worry, he couldn't lose to this pathetic pink.........thing. He heaved a great breath and released an inferno onto the side of Kirby's mouth.

The onlookers watched as Kirby seemed to be concentrating very hard on something. They watched as quickly, Kirby's face turned a bright red. They watched the look of concentration, wash off his face as he ran in circles, being careful not to open his mouth. They watched as he began to transform into his opponent. They watched as he grew a head of long silver hair, they watched as a black and yellow tunic appeared over his pink exterior, they watched as a small rapier appeared in his hand, and they watched as two comically drawn teeth emerged from the corners of his mouth. Then they watched as he opened his mouth expelling a burst of flames and a charred Alucard.

Alucards clothes were singed, his fire spells had damaged him as much as his opponent in those close quarters. He looked up to see his opponent still running around in circles, clutching his enormous mouth. Alucard removed his sword from the ground were he had dropped it and sliced through the air a few times.

Kirby recognized the sound of the sword and slowly turned to his opponent. Kirby brandished his own miniature rapier. Well, not miniature but still smaller than Alucard's. He pointed his weapon at his opponent and then performed the Fencer's Salute. Alucard smiled and performed the same. It was time to duel.

They rushed toward the center of the arena each with their swords at the ready. They met at the center with a great clash of swords. Alucard held his empty hand behind his back as he clashed swords with his pink counter part. Kirby held his other hand back in the air pointing to the sky behind him. The swords clanged together again and again. Each with the same abilities and knowledge, they were equally matched.

Alucard moved his sword in a tight circle, leading Kirby's sword with it. As soon as Kirby moved his sword Alucard lunged forward with a stab. Kirby tilted his sword forward and pushed Alucard's blade harmlessly to the side. He moved in with a quick slash to the throat. Alucard ducked and made another attempt to stab Kirby.

Kirby saw the attack coming and smiled, the prod of the sword seemed to trigger an explosion in Kirby. Suddenly hundreds of pink balls with a fuzzy black cap and two leathery wings took his place. Alucard grimaced at the use of his own technique, but was forced to do the same as the bats materialized again and the sword came slashing down. The swarm of bats materialized into Alucard several feet back.

Alucard fired a blast of fire at Kirby. Kirby rolled out of the way and fired a shot of his own. Alucard also rolled to the side, and charged in for another sword attack Kirby leapt back leaving an inferno in his place. Alucard had to stop quickly to avoid running into the flame. Kirby looked over at Alucard through the flames, Alucard noticed the look of nobility in Kirby's eyes. It looked like he had absorbed even Alucard's gentlemanly arrogance. Then mist began to emanate from around Kirby. The blaze was extinguished by the mist, and soon it covered the entire stadium.

Alucard was shocked to see his moves being performed by Kirby again, much less one as advanced as this. The mist surrounded him. He quieted his mind to hear any sounds of an attack from his opponent. Suddenly Kirby materialized out of the mist beside him and jabbed outward with his blade. Alucard spun to deflect it, but Kirby used the impact to bring around the hilt of his blade and smash Alucard in the face with it, and then he disappeared into the mist again.

Alucard rubbed his face, he had faced and defeated this technique before, it required a great deal of magic prowess and couldn't be maintained for long. He just needed to wait. He resumed his defensive stance.

Kirby was getting worried though, while he seemed to have the advantage, it was taking to long to defeat Alucard. He had already been beginning to feel the transformation wearing off, and this spell seemed to be speeding up the process. He needed to end it now. He transformed into a wolf and began slowly stalking Alucard from behind.

The Son of Dracula looked left and right trying to pin down Kirby in the mystic fog. He couldn't see him, he was a sitting duck, but the fog was lifting. He knew that Kirby's magical powers were wearing down, he wouldn't be able to maintain it for long. After he lost the spell his magical power would be weakened, and Alucard would have him exactly where he wanted him. Suddenly, he was pounced on from behind.

He felt a wolf's teeth drive into the skin on his right shoulder, and his mixed blood began to pour from the wound. He whipped around to elbow the beast off of him, but it had anticipated that and dodged the attack. The now off balance Alucard was subject to another attack from Wolf Kirby. This time his forearm was the target. The pain rushed through is arm, and in the surge of agony he released his sword and let it clatter on the ground. The wolf released Alucard from his grasp, and Alucard immediately began to nurse his now nearly completely injured right arm.

The wolf was sweating. It was clearly losing energy. Alucard looked down at his arm and knew that now his advantage in the clear would have been removed, but he began to notice a change in his opponent.

The stretched out pink pillow with a wolf hat, paws, and tail, was beginning to change. His body was contracting back to his circular shape. The paws began to resemble Kirby's short and stubby limbs again, and the wolf hat began to shrink down.

The mist was clearing now, so much so that now the audience could see the entire ring from anywhere. Alucard rose to his feet, and smiled at his opponent. The transformation was now complete, his opponent was no longer a vampire, but a spherical pink object.

"Hahahaha," the half-vampire laughed aloud. "You were in a race against time, and you lost. Now you are mine." With that the vampire launched a fire spell at Kirby, however Kirby though had not been injured or tired by his fight with Alucard. He was still in fighting condition. Kirby leaped over the incoming blast and let a shockwave from his blade loose. Alucard rolled to the side, but landed on his arm. A blast of pain shot through his battered appendage. Kirby landed on the ground and rushed toward him. A series of rapid fire punches connected with Alucard's body the last hitting his shoulder.

Alucard cringed in pain as he rolled across the ground. He rose to his feet, but Kirby was still right there to attack. Alucard ducked out of the way of a powerful flipping kick, and began to search for his sword. He saw it and ran for it.

Kirby saw him going for his sword. Kirby began to inhale again. Alucard had almost reached his sword when an incredible blast of wind started pulling him away. He dropped to the ground and began to claw towards his sword. The wind was pulling him back with strength greater than gravity, so it was no easy task. Alucard reached his hand out for his sword. Kirby increased the power of his inhalation. The force pulled Alucard back, but with a yell he lunged forward and reached it. His hands let go of the ground and he began to fly towards Kirby's vacant mouth.

Alucard hurled his sword into the void of Kirby's mouth. The blade went strait through and pierced the back of Kirby's mouth. The air began to escape from Kirby and soon he couldn't inhale as fast as the air escaped. He stopped and deflated.

Alucard rose from the ground and walked over to the injured Kirby. Kirby, while deflated, was still attempting to move. Alucard pointed his sword down at the deflated folds of pink skin, and then looked over to the announcer. The announcer nodded and announced Alucard's victory. The sun was setting on the horizon. Alucard smiled and looked at the fading sun, then he turned into a swarm of bats and flew away.

Aftermath:
"The Power to Kill"

Kirby exited the medical ward, an x-shaped bandage marking the spot where Alucard's sword had pierced his back. He walked cheerfully down the hall saying goodbye to everyone with a series of waves, he had drawn quite a crowd to the infirmary to see if he would pull through after his injury. A huge crowd of fans followed the pink fighter from the medical ward to the portal station and all wished him luck as he transported back to a world of funny looking trees and ducks.

Alucard looked on from the roof of the training center, and smiled. He had redeemed himself for that ungentlemanly display in his battle with Bomberman.

"Coward," a dark voice said from behind him.

Alucard didn't have to look to know who it was. "You confuse cowardice and mercy, Sephiroth," h

Sephiroth walked up next to him, looking down at the door Kirby had gone through. "You think sparing that.....thing makes you better in some way?" Sephiroth asked.

"I've known people like you before, Sephiroth," Alucard said turning around and walking away from Sephiroth. "You live by your power, but you'll die by it too. Real power comes from having something other than strength, something no amount of training could ever accomplish." A smile crossed Alucard's face, "Why do you think you were unable to defeat Cloud and Link?"

Sephiroth cringed, the half-vampire had touched a sore spot. Sephiroth seemed at a loss for words for once Alucard began to leave. Sephiroth started up again before he did though, "And do you have that proverbial something?" Alucard stopped. "What makes you think you are any better than me? Is it that you have spared more of your opponents than I have? Don't make me laugh."

"I am not a murderer," Alucard replied. "There is nothing to gain by slaying those weaker than you, that is an abuse of the power you have."

"The weak were meant to die at the hands of the strong," Sephiroth replied. "The strong slaughter the weak, and become stronger. That is the way of life. I have taken hold of my power and made it mine, while you cower in fear of it like a scared child."

Alucard didn't reply he just began to walk away. Sephiroth spoke up, "Go ahead, nightwalker. Chase your foolish ambitions of honor and compassion, but I can assure you, you won't receive those luxuries from me."

Alucard dissipated into a swarm of bats and left Sephiroth on the roof top. Sephiroth smiled and leaped down from the roof, and returned to the mansion.
